Lovely House in Alameda

Our family is going on sabbatical for a few months and we're looking to rent our house while we're gone. Located on a wonderful block close to Washington Park and the beach, it's perfect for families with kids.

The house has an open floor plan with 3 bedrooms, an extra loft space, 2 bathrooms, parking, a large garage, a spacious front porch, and a private patio. Steps from beach, park, cafes, & easy access to SF & Oakland.

We are asking $1000 per week or $3500 per month, with a $125 cleaning fee. The house is available roughly June 15th - August 15th.

Note: We have a super-low maintenance indoor/outdoor cat (only goes to the bathroom outside). We could have someone come feed the cat while you're renting the house, or you could feed the cat - whatever you prefer.

I am Founder and Director of FosterEd, an initiative of the National Center for Youth Law that improves the educational outcomes of students in foster care. My wife is Director of Research and Policy at the Education Trust-West, where she works to ensure at-risk youth receive the educational opportunities they need to succeed. We have two wonderful children, ages two and four. The whole family loves the outdoors and loves to travel. We're very excited about our upcoming sabbatical in Oaxaca, Mexico!
