Beautiful Victorian rowhouse in DC's Capitol Hill

Beautiful 1930s Victorian rowhouse on Capitol Hill, 2.5 BR 2 BA, located four blocks from Eastern Market and Metro with full range of services, shops, restaurants, post office, Yes! organic market, and just two blocks from the 14th Street Safeway and lovely Lincoln Park. History, culture, art, and community in spades – there really is no other ‘hood in DC like the Hill.

Many charming touches including hardwood floors, brick patio, long back yard (with fig tree), two working fireplaces, bay windows, skylights, sunny eat-in kitchen, walk-in closets. Washer/dryer and storage space in basement.

Available furnished, with WiFi, from September 2018 through March 2019. Perfect for researchers, Fellows, academics, writers, art-lovers, small family, 2 roommates, visitors to DC who want to be within walking distance of Library of Congress, Smithsonian museums, National Gallery of Art, Folger Shakespeare Library, US Botanical Gardens and the Capitol.

About Me
I'm a sociologist, curator and museum studies practitioner with field experience and museum experience in South Asia and the U.S. Over the last few years, my research has taken me to my hometown Hyderabad India (University of Hyderabad), and London (Wellcome Trust) and I have been enjoying work and travel between continents and cultures. I'm also a longtime resident of Washington D.C., where my house on Capitol Hill is available for rent through March 2018 while I am away. Its perfect for writers, scholars, academics, Fellows new to DC and anyone who wants an introduction to one of the most interesting, diverse, and beautiful neighborhoods in DC - Eastern Market.
