Spacious, Art-Filled Condo - 2 BR, Private BA, 20 minutes to Manhattan

My spacious 1500 sq ft condo is located next to a 240 acre park (tennis, golf, track) in a historic district of Jersey City, "NYC's 6th Borough". Jersey City is the most diverse city in the U.S. and also very progressive when it comes to pro-active support to CoVid response, diverse and community policing, innovative transportation solutions, LGBTQ rights, etc. I work for a non-profit and travel extensively to Central America - so am not at home much. I am offering full run of my condo (fully stocked kitchen, living, dining) as well as 2 bedrooms and a full private bath. When I am not home, a 2nd full bath is available as well. Being in a quiet pre-war building means plenty of light, hardwood floors, higher ceilings, and windows that open... I am a health nut and filter my tap and shower water. We are in a diverse neighborhood with plenty of public transportation options to NYC (20 min by PATH to 33rd St. or 10 min to World Trade). The PATH station is 5 min. away by Uber, 7 min. by bus or a 15 min. walk. The Citibike station is 2 blocks away. Ferries cross from Jersey City Marina to lower Manhattan. Street parking is free but car must be moved for alternate side cleaning. Newark airport is a 15 min. drive and can be accessed by train as well. We are also near Jersey City Medical Center for those who might be considering residencies there. Jersey City has a vibrant art and restaurant scene - and is known as the 6th borough. The historic downtown is 2 miles away (bus, Uber, PATH). We are 1 mile from Statue of Liberty Park - with miles of biking trails, kayaking and sailboats into the harbor. Blocks from both St. Peter's University And NJCU. Jersey City is home to MANA Contemporary Art (1 mile away) and food and communities from many parts of the world. Can help with recommendations for dance (salsa, rumba), music (jazz, latin jazz) and nearby Pilates/Yoga practices. (am a certified international Pilates instructor).

About Me
While magazine and book publishing was my first career, I have spent the last 17 years working in education - at McGraw Hill, College Board, and recently developing innovative software for KIPP Charter middle school students. I am a lead founder and board president of a charter school in Jersey City as well as an NGO working with 11 public schools in Nicaragua. I am committed to closely the equity and access gap and have spent many years mentoring HS students in underserved communities and tutoring ESL to adults. I am a jazz, latin jazz, timba, and salsa fanatic - and have traveled the world to follow these passions. I am also an internationally certified Pilates instructor - even though I am never home long enough to teach. Am semi-fluent in Spanish - but always need to practice.....I love meeting people from different cultures and have hosted many college and professional students from Brazil, China, Mexico, spending several months in NYC to study English.
