One Block from Harvard, 1BDRM, Sun Room! At a discount.

A house-sitting arrangement for someone, or a couple, at my one bedroom apartment from October 25 for 1 or 2 months. I am offering the apartment for $2100, all utilities/wifi included (a $300 discount).

TONS OF LIGHT! HISTORIC, EARLY 1900s HARVARD SQUARE APARTMENT. HIGH CEILINGS AND WINDOWS IN LIVING ROOM, BEDROOM, AND SURROUNDING ALL WALLS IN SUN ROOM!

The apartment is fully furnished, equipped with everything needed for a month to 2 months stay.

The apartment is a one bedroom, with a large attached sun room / greenhouse, a living room, a bathroom with bathtub and shower, and a galley eat-in kitchen in a historic Cambridge building: the academic center of the world.

This is the best location in Cambridge, as it is a block from Harvard University, Radcliff Quadrangle, and an 8-minute stroll to the heart of Harvard Square. All amenities are within 10 minutes by foot, with some of the best dining in Boston only one or two blocks away.

The apartment is on the very convenient Red Line of the metro (the T), and buses stop literally at the front door. The apartment is located on the second floor of this historic building from the 1910s-1920s.

There are wonderful dining options, coffee shops, book shops, museums, the Harvard planetarium, libraries, sunny patios, and bars all a stone's throw from the apartment. Harvard Law is across the street.

About Me
Samantha Bankston is a visiting assistant professor of philosophy at Babson College. She specializes in 19th and 20th century continental philosophy, notably the ontology of Gilles Deleuze. Samantha is the author of Deleuze and Becoming (Bloomsbury, 2017), and she is currently completing a book manuscript entitled Deleuze and iek (Palgrave Macmillan). She translated Anne Sauvagnargues' book, Deleuze and Art (Bloomsbury/Continuum, 2013, 2017), as well as the work of other renowned philosophers, such as Gilles Deleuze, Frédéric Gros, and Salvo Vaccaro for the University of Minnesota Press, the University of Chicago Press, Lexington Books, among others. Her philosophical writings can be found in a variety of anthologies, including Simone de Beauvoir--A Humanist Thinker (Brill, 2015), Deleuze and the Passions (Punctum Books, 2016), as well as at the International Journal for iek Studies (2016). Dr. Bankston is a part of a translation team, funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH), under the direction of Purdue University Professor Daniel W. Smith, which makes available online previously unpublished, audio-recorded lectures given by Gilles Deleuze at the University of Paris-8.

Dr Bankston has proved to be an excellent tenant, discreet, flexible, and considerate enough to leave my studio spotless on leaving. Thank you Samantha! Excellent Paris4 9/17/2019 9:29:00 AM
