The Willow Tree Apartment is a 2 bed, 2 bathroom (en-suite) apartment attached to the large property known as The Apple Orchard. Set amongst Apple Orchards in the valley of the river Sorgues, close to the famous antiques town of L'Ilse-sur-la-Sorgues, this open plan, self contained, private apartment has the benefit of a beautiful courtyard garden and use of the main pool. It is located only 20 minutes outside of Avignon with public transport services to and from the City. The local town of Le Thor is only a 2 minute drive with a weekly market, cafes and all other amenities. The owners live at The Apple Orchard with their two boys (17 and 14 years) and labrador dog (5 years). We are happy to share a part of this incredible property and enjoy meeting families from all over the world.

About Me
My husband and I have been running "Provence Seasons" a villa rental business in Provence since 2003. We now have a wonderfully large, fully furnished, character villa available for monthly lettings between November and April. With its convenient position close to the University of Avignon, it is a welcome retreat, a home away from home, with a beautiful lawned garden, large pool and balcony terrace. We have not rented The Olive Garden through Sabbatical Homes before so please visit our website to see the reviews.

Our stay at the Olive Garden exceeded our expectations. The hosts Audrey and Peter were helpful kind and went way above and beyond to ensure we had a smooth and easy transition for our sabbatical year in France. I like to think they have become our friends, and am so looking forward to seeing them again soon! The location of the house is a ten out of ten, close to hiking biking, schools, bakeries, castles, medieval towns, Roman towns, markets, you name it. I cannot recommend a stay at the Olive Garden enough, though I selfishly want to keep it as a secret all to myself. Enough space for our whole family of 5, plus the few guests that managed to arrive before COVID hit, this is a fabulous place to spend a year or how ever much time you have.
