Georgian stuccoed terraced house in Kennington, set back from main road with walled front and back gardens, close to Lambeth North tube station and Waterloo Station and frequent bus services to West End, Bloomsbury and King's Cross. The house has undergone a complete renovation in 2017. Both bedrooms have king size beds and are ensuite (showers).
The rent is all inclusive. Longer term tenancy (3 months or more: £3000/month). 10% of the net profit is donated to a scholarship (Somerville College, Oxford).

This is a lovely, lovely home in a very central location. As a Londoner, returning to UK for a research visit, I had thought I knew the area quite well but was pleasantly surprised with the location as it was so easy to get everywhere, by bus, taxi, tube or foot. Much more central than I had thought. The house is on a busy road hence the great bus routes, but is very quiet as set well back from the street. The kitchen is great with all mod appliances. The beautiful master suite at the top of the house is gorgeous. So much to do nearby with award winning pub for Sunday lunch, not to mention the bars and restaurants of the South Bank and Waterloo and easy to get to all the major universities, library’s etc for a productive days work. The hosts responded so quickly to a problem despite being out of the country at the time. I can’t recommend this place enough. Thank you for a great stay in London. We stayed in this lovely home for three months, and thoroughly enjoyed it! The large study is very light and has one desk looking into the walled back garden and another looking into the front garden. The lounge is also large, the two bedrooms are very comfortable, and the kitchen, heating, washer/dryer, etc. are all very modern. The street can be busy, but the bus to the British library stops right across the street, the bus to the Royal College of Music stops in front of the house, and it is an easy walk to the South Bank. Susanne was a friendly and hospitable host and made us extremely comfortable in her lovely, well appointed Georgian home which was as described. It is modernized in the ways that matter and Susanne thought of every detail to make her guests feel welcome and cozy, from luxurious flannel sheets to loaded oyster cards, to a well stocked and equipped kitchen and dining room.
