London NW8. Charming quiet & comfortable home. Very central. Well equipped. NW8. Fully inclusive

Very comfortable, attractive flat which is fully and tastefully furnished. It is our home which we prepare for guests by emptying wardrobes etc. whilst leaving available linen, all cooking needs etc. Great for couples as well as solo adventurers, and for academics as well as business travellers. Space to entertain.

Good-sized lounge/living room with kitchen leading off. Linen and towels provided. Free WIFI. Cable TV with 42" screen, CD/DVD player.

Leading off the living room is the modern and well-equipped eat-in kitchen with a large, round table and up to 6 bright chairs and a dishwasher.

A utility room is downstairs with a washing machine and separate dryer. The walk-in shower is also downstairs as is the separate wc and master bedroom.

There is a lovely, leafy balcony off the living room with a small table and chairs. Perfect for an evening cocktail.

The bedroom has a king size bed with a new mattress (soft on one side and hard on the other) and blackout blinds for those whose sleep is disturbed by too much light.

This is a great location. Our comfortable home is in quiet, safe Swiss Cottage, close to all transport links. Walk to metro, buses and overground station South Hampstead is just across the road. Euston station one stop away. Not far from St Pancras whence you can take the Eurostar for a day trip to Paris. 47 minutes from Kings Cross station to Cambridge and 54 minutes from Paddington station to Oxford. Walking distance to Primrose Hill and Regents Park, short trip to Hampstead Heath. Lords' Cricket Ground is nearby.

Approx. 30 minutes travel time to London University campuses: LSE, SOAS, Kings, UCL, City U., Birkbeck, Institute of Education, London Metropolitan U, City University, British Library, theatres and museums. Short bus ride to the Royal Free Hospital in Hampstead.

The rental fee includes all bills, except long distance telephone charges, Council Tax, Service Charge, Electricity, Broadband wireless internet & Freeview TV. This is equivalent about £80.00 per week.

About Me
I worked in academia for many years, culminating in working at the Royal College of Art. I'm now retired and we have a house in SW France which we stay in when it's not rented out. It always seems a shame to leave a nice home empty so it seems logical to rent our home out to academics travelling to London. Our home in France is also ideal, especially for academics who require a very tranquil environment.

We rented this flat for two months in the summer of 2017 and had a terrific experience. The flat was well equipped, comfortable, quiet, and in a very good location, close to the Tube and buses and nearby shopping, groceries and restaurants. The landlord was quickly available by phone and email, and she was quick to fix a problem that we were having with the water. Highly recommended. Excellent Sid 8/12/2017 12:51:00 PM
