3 bedroom (or 2 beds and an office) recently renovated 2nd floor apartment in the best neighborhood in Madison! Walking distance to dozens of great bars, restaurants, grocery stores, and boutique shops in the Willy Street/ Downtown area. And only 2.5 miles from UW campus. Plenty of street parking and driveway parking may be possible if necessary.
The apartment has beautiful maple hardwood floors, original oak woodwork, great natural light, tall ceilings. The house was built in 1909 and has the typical charm of old houses in this area, but with modern amenities and a funky retro decor. This is the upstairs apartment in an owner-occupied 2-flat house.
Guests have access to their own washer/ dryer, iron, hair dryer, full-size kitchen with fridge and gas stove/ oven, wine cooler, microwave, toaster, cookware, etc. Living room has 36" television that is hooked up to Netflix and you can also connect to your favorite streaming channels. There is a private back balcony that can comfortably sit 4 or 5 people. There are 2 large bedrooms with double beds, and a smaller third bedroom with a single bed and a full-size desk.
This is a quiet, family-oriented street and we live downstairs. So we have to ask that guests not have late night “parties” and be conscious of noise after 10pm. Although we do encourage guests to safely enjoy the nightlife in the neighborhood and downtown!
