About Me
I spent the first part of my life very focused on academics. But a few years ago, some of life's best and worst parts all happened at once and helped me gain perspective and own the fact that academia was making me unhappy. Now I write and travel with my husband and child and try to make myself useful in different and evolving ways. I am originally from Mexico and I inherited my family's very old house there. We renovated it completely and turned it into three lovely and very special apartments, that I hope to rent. As a child, I spent a year abroad for one of my father's sabbatical years. It was an amazing experience that I am sure changed my life. I would love to host a person or a family on sabbatical and be a part of that adventure.
