Sun-filled, historic downtown condo

This is the perfect relaxing retreat for a busy professional or family. An updated condo within a historic building with original hardwood floors, exposed beams, exposed brick and 14-foot ceilings. Safe, welcoming building. Open-concept kitchen and living area. Large master bedroom with en suite bathroom and rain shower. Both bedrooms with double closets. High end stainless steel appliances and fixtures throughout. We bought the condo two years ago and have since replaced the central air conditioning, heat/hot water, washer/dryer and refrigerator, as well as most light fixtures.

This is a prime location for both ease of getting to Yale or the hospital but also living in a fun, convenient spot downtown (& not far from the quiet Wooster Sq). Great local restaurants and bars (Miso, Skappo, Barcelona, Mecha, Crown 116, Barcade, Beer Collective are some of our favorites). Grocery store 1 block away (Elm City Market), smaller Asian market
downstairs. Farmers’ market 2x/week (downtown & Wooster Sq). Monthly neighborhood block parties with a theme: “Wine on 9”, “Cookies on 9." Easy walk to the train station (Amtrak, Metro North and CT rail).

My husband and I have loved being at Yale and living in New Haven. We hope you will too!

About Me
I completed my residency in pediatrics at Yale-New Haven Hospital and recently moved across the country to Palo Alto, CA for fellowship in neonatology. My husband and I love spending time outdoors, cooking and eating good food, and exploring our neighborhood.

I've been a tenant here for six months to date, and the apartment is just as advertised. Quiet building. Convenient location: walking distance to train station, hospital, university, public library, New Haven green, shops and restaurants. Spacious and nicely furnished; excellent kitchen with high-end appliances. Dated but functional baths. The landlord has been direct, considerate, and easy to deal with. I don't have a single complaint. Excellent RAS 1/2/2020 10:37:00 AM
