Sleek Remodeled Apt in 1920s Bldg in Paris 14th

David's apartment was a delightful place to come home to. It's not huge, but it's well thought out and has everything necessary: kitchen with modern appliances, bed, desk and sofabed. It's situated in a non-touristy part of Paris, close to good supermarkets and well connected to downtown by metro, tram, and bus. What I liked best was the wonderful view (one looks out over the delightful greenery of the Petite Ceinture all the way to the tower of Montparnasse), and the quiet (no street noise at all and the neighbors are quite discreet). David was very helpful and responsive, and although he was not on site, he has a helpful network of friends and collaborators ready to help in case of problems. 10/10

David's apartment is beautiful--it's a small but well-designed and renovated place and imaculately clean. The desk looks out onto a wonderful view of Paris, and is the perfect setting to get some writing or thinking done. David is a lovely and attentive host.

I have spent nine months in David's apartment in Paris. The apartment is very well designed, with very great appliances and equipment. The view from there is wonderful. The building is super clean, quiet, with a "gardien" who conveniently receives and distributes mail and packages daily.

The neighborhood is calm, the section of Rue des Plantes in particular but very close to lively streets like Rue Didot (that has wonderful restaurants and cafés) and from rue d'Alesia with many shops and stores. The "petite ceinture" (former circular railways now open for leisure) is accessible 5 minutes away from the apartment and the beautiful Parc Montsouris is a 15 min walk.

David is extremely responsive and very affable.

This is a wonderful place to stay short or long term - it is comfortable and well-equipped and very easy to maintain. It is quiet and bright with a great view towards the trees of the Petite Ceinture. The owner, David, is very helpful and responsive and just generally kind and correct person. I enjoyed my 1-month stay very much.

I very much enjoyed spending 3 ½ month in this bright, modern and very well-equipped apartment. I don’t want to repeat what all others wrote, but want to mention that all they wrote is true and perfectly describes not only the apartment but also the location. The apartment as well as the building itself is very clean and safe. A nice doorman takes care of the mail and even delivers it to the apartment. The owner himself is very well organized, friendly, helpful and uncomplicated. He is always available for contact by email and quickly responds. This studio is a great place to stay, I can only recommend it.

Very comfortable and clever little apartment convenient to all the amenities and in a good quiet neighborhood. Good for writing, walking, close to all transit options. Owner is gracious and responsive if anything comes up, provides helpful guide to neighborhood. My 12 weeks there were wonderful and I'd rent it again; I recommend this experience.

I spent an 8-month sabbatical (2015-16) very happily in this bright, well-appointed studio. It had been totally remodeled quite recently and was impeccably maintained. Ingenious design includes very generous storage space, even room for big luggage. Everything is new and works. I enjoyed cooking in the well-ventilated kitchen. The whole place has a crisp, clean design I found soothing. Nice desk space by a large window; in fact windows also in bath and kitchen. Good lighting options for reading at all hours, plenty of outlets for your electronics. The building is charming and very well maintained, a quiet environment, lovely view from each window. Pleasant, safe neighborhood with everything you need within walking distance. I enjoyed the colorful streetmarket twice a week and even a good flea market on weekends. I found the location convenient for transportation. (Loved the new tram line that goes to the National Library, but also enjoyed access to Metro, buses, and very easy access to both airports--public transport to your streetcorner!). The owner is very well organized and a pleasure to deal with; he provides a handy and thorough guide for guests. I highly recommend this studio for a sabbatical or for a visit. The sofa bed is quite comfortable and easy to deploy if you need the extra sleeping space, and you can get a modicum of privacy with sliding translucent doors to privatize the futon area.

I cannot recommend enough this apartment. If you're looking for a very well-equipped, comfortable, luminous studio apartment for your stay in Paris, I wouldn't look any further. I stayed for three weeks in December/early January with my mother. Although the apartment's surface is relatively small for non-Parisian standards, the sliding glass door that divides the bedroom area from the living room is so functional that the apartment can easily accommodate two people sleeping in separate beds (the futon in the living room converts into a quite comfortable bed). The owner of the apartment was always available for contact via email and very friendly. I had a wonderful experience and will definitely try to stay in this apartment again on my next trip to Paris.

I had the luck of renting this wonderful, very luminous, superbly furnished little apartment during the past November. The apartment lies at the 5th floor (with elevator), very near to metro and bus stops, and also to a flea market (on Sundays) and a farmer's market (on Saturdays). All the appliances are new, and include a very useful (to me at least) washing machine. But what really fascinates is the view over the Paris roofs. The owner is a very nice person: I never met him, but he has been very helpful, his detailed instructions and guidelines helped me a lot at the beginning. I then warmly recommend this flat, either for people on holiday or going to Paris for work (as in my case).
