Elegant, Roomy North Portland House for rent Feb-7-April 15

Our home is 20 minutes from downtown Portland. It's perfect for walking here, even in winter. Beautifully designed spaces flow from the well- equipped kitchen and breakfast room to living and dining rooms, a study, downstairs half bath. Upstairs two queen bedrooms have their own double bath; down the hall is a large master bedroom and bath. The third floor is a child or teenagers' delight: foam Yogibo furniture, twin beds. Sit on the deck and look watch spring perennials bloom before your eyes under the maples and oaks—you'll be glad you came!

Our three bedroom house comfortably sleeps eight people. It is in Pineloch Woods, a nice development near the Presumpscot River Preserve in North Deering, about 20 minutes north of the Old Port and downtown Portland on Rt. 295. Still a "new" house at only twelve years old, it has cherry hardwood floors downstairs and in the upstairs hall, with carpet in the bedrooms. The entrance hall and graceful staircase are unique, as is the artistic, spare interior design. The large master bedroom features a king bed, bathroom with double sinks and jetted tub, and dressing room for two people’s clothes, with hanging closet area and shelves. Down the hall near the stairs are two bedrooms each with queen beds, and a study. The third floor is a lounging area with streaming TV and Yogibo beanbag couches in the front room, and a bedroom with twin beds which faces the back, the newest area finished off in 2016. Games are on third floor, toys for toddlers are in the closet of the queen bedroom on second floor next to the guest bathroom.
Cooks will enjoy the gas cooktop, two ovens, two sinks, dishwasher, disposal, and microwave. There is Internet throughout the house. The back yard is spacious with perennial flower beds, the deck up just a few stairs, overlooks it.. Families with little kids, people who run and walk, and dog walkers, enjoy the freedom from traffic of Pineloch Woods. The Presumpscot River Preserve is at the head of Pineloch at Summit Ave, right on Summit, then right to Oak Notch park where trails to the river and falls begin.
The third floor lounging area has a wall to wall beige carpet; no food is allowed up there.
We're a text, email, or phone call away to help and answer any questions. You’ll find a basket of maps and suggestions for great things to do in Casco Bay— cruises, nearby beaches, island-hopping, Portland’s Arts District, Art Museum, Portland Stage theater. Great music is at Longfellow Square and other venues.
Our next door neighbors at 149 Pineloch Drive are Pam and Tom Leahy, who can help orient you.
Park in the driveway and on the street. Keys are in a lockbox on the back deck sliding glass door, combination given in email.
155 Pineloch Drive is on the corner of Deepwood Ave. and Pineloch Drive. The house fronts Deepwood, but the entrance and driveway are on Pineloch. Rolling Brook, the entry street to Pineloch Woods, is a block beyond Summit Ave. on Allen Avenue.
A fast way to get to 295 N from our house is to drive north a few blocks to Ledgewood, then jog right on Ocean to Presumpscot St. It joins Washington in a few miles, go left to find entrance to 295 South.
Going north, head north on Allen Avenue to Falmouth and right onto Bucknam Road, which leads to Exit 11 to 295, north or south. Coming back from the north take Bucknam Rd, Exit 11.
No pets or smoking.
