We stayed for 6 weeks in the fall. The apartment was as advertised, plenty of room for 2. The bed was very comfortable, lots of hot water in the shower. A good amount of storage so you didn't have to live out of a suitcase. The location was in the heart of the Monti district which is convenient to all the sites, the Metro, lots of restaurants and grocery stores. We only took public transportation once in six weeks because the location is so walkable. One thing to be aware of is that internet access was sporadic while we were there but the utility was working to bring fiber to the area so that maybe fix by the time this review was written. Paola was very helpful and quick to resolve any issues. A great place to explore Rome from. Excellent john leavens 12/9/2018 7:23:00 AM
This is a very comfortable apartment in a central, historical district of Rome. The apartment has all the modern amenities exactly as advertised, and is close to subway and to all major places of interest in the city. The landlady, Paola, is easy to contact, friendly, and outstandingly efficient in responding to the renters' needs. Highly recommended. Excellent Denis Kozlov 3/4/2018 6:39:00 PM
A very fine accommodation that is centrally located. All sights of the historic center are within walking distance, as are the major churches, museums, galleries, shops and restaurants. There is absolutely no need to use public transit from this location, though buses and subway stops are only steps away from the front door. Signora Paola is the owner of apartment, as well as several other rental units within the same building, and she is always ready to make the living experience in Rome a pleasant one. I would recommend in a heart beat! Excellent Patrick Anthony Cavaliere 1/31/2018 10:23:00 AM
I stayed in this apartment in October and November 2014.

This location is just as described, so the details provided in the description of the apartment are entirely accurate: wifi, laundry, kitchen equipped for cooking--the amenities are excellent.

Those unfamiliar with the Monti neighborhood may want to know that it is within walking distance from Centro Storico and other sites: 5 minutes to Colosseum, 10 minutes to Roman Fora, 20 minutes to Pantheon and Piazza Navona. Grocers, bakeries, butchers, specialty shops are very nearby. Search the web for recent New York Times and Guardian articles about Monti to learn more. This location offers the experience of living in Rome instead of just visiting in Rome.

Paola is professional and completely reliable, but even more than that she is a wonderful host, happy to offer suggestions and tips.

Really comfortable, well equipped and clean studio.Location is perfect for getting anywhere, and the choice of cafes and restos in the neighborhood is amazing. The host, Paola is very helpful and super welcoming. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable spot as a base for their time in Rome. Marilyn Excellent m. rowell 3/12/2013 3:06:00 PM
