We were extremely happy with our stay. The condo has beautiful, comfortable furnishings and was stocked with more than enough of everything we could possibly need. It looks out onto the San Diego River and my 4-year old son never tired of riding his bike along the river path looking for birds, squirrels, and other wildlife. The apartment complex has a pool and a gym, and feels very safe. It is conveniently situated in the middle of Mission Valley, close to numerous stores and restaurants, and just a short walk away from the trolley station, which runs east to SDSU and beyond, and west to Old Town, Seaport Village and downtown. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would gladly go back!

We have very much enjoyed our six month stay at this condo. It is completely furnished with all the household goods you need. We have had numerous visitors sample the pleasures of San Diego while staying with us, and the unit has plenty of room for guests without feeling crowded. The heated pool and hot tub are conveniently close, although we Canadians seemed to be the only ones to appreciate them in the winter months (if you can call the modest drop in temperature in San Diego a winter...).
Within a 5-10 minute walk are trolley stops with quick access to San Diego State campus or downtown, two fine coffee shops (Starbucks and an indie), a wine bar, numerous restaurants and many major chain stores.
The real bonus with this condo is the location in the center of city life but with a country feel: you back onto the San Diego river so it is an oasis in the midst of the city. We have seen lots of bird life along the river, from the usual ducks and shore birds to herons (night and great blue), egrets (snowy and great) and the neighborhood kestrel. You can walk or run along the river pathway, and by combining the river walking path with a connecting bike path you can jog all the way to Mission Bay Preserve and then to the ocean. It is a 10 minute drive to Balboa Park and everything in San Diego is close at hand. We have also spent sabbatical time in LA and London, so it was great to not have to contend with long commutes to enjoy the city.
The condo complex has a good mix of age groups, yet is quiet and secure. Marie and Stan are attentive hosts and very congenial to deal with. The
