Southampton Residence by Tridel. 1250 sf split bedroom layout. Our home is perfect for a professional couple, empty nesters or a single child family. Most of the residents in our building are retirees and/or empty nesters who have downsized to the building in order to remain in the neighbourhood. Our condo offers convenient access to all post-secondary institutions within the GTA, as well as all of the major downtown teaching hospitals.

Bright and spacious. Renovated kitchen with built-in pantry and top end appliances. MBR with walk-in closet. MBR ensuite features his and hers sinks, separate shower and jacuzzi. Second bedroom with private bath. Both rooms with Queen sized beds. Den features a wall of windows. Hardwood floors and crown moulding throughout. Gas fireplace. Custom window blinds. The building has a 24 hour concierge. We are located close to the Gardiner Expressway, both the subway and the streetcar, Bloor West Village, The Kingsway, Roncesvalles, High Park and Grenadier Pond, the Lake Ontario waterfront, the Humber River, a citywide network of bike trails, as well as both Pearson International Airport and the Toronto Island Airport. Outside of rush hour, you can be in Muskoka in only two hours.

We are also located near great shopping. Just a matter of steps out the front door finds you at The Cheese Boutique (www.cheeseboutique.com). The Food Terminal Sobey’s (at 125 The Queensway) is walkable, as are the shops of Bloor West Village. Costco (Etobicoke) is a 5 minute drive, and Sherway Gardens is a 10 minute drive.

Tenants are expected to do light housekeeping (regular vacuuming and dusting) and to keep the kitchen, bathrooms and laundry equipment clean. We will provide a professional (bonded and insured) cleaning service, once a month, to do a deep cleaning including the kitchen and bathrooms.

The condo is currently rented until November 30th, 2020 - with the possibility of a short extension as circumstances dictate. We will know more closer to this date. We do need to do a few minor repairs - paint touch ups, etc. - prior to renting again. For this reason we are setting the occupancy date at January 1st, 2021… but it is possible that it could be available earlier. Please get in touch if you're interested and would be wanting the condo a few weeks earlier. It might be possible…

About Me
We are two retired secondary school teachers (David for 10 years, Enid just recently retired). We enjoy time spent at our summer cottage and are looking to start travelling during the shoulder season and winter months. Our condo is a great place from which to explore Toronto and take in all it has to offer so we welcome short - and perhaps even longer term - rentals to help finance our travels. We could be open to a home swap in the right location.
