My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed staying in this spacious garden suite which has a lot of character, natural light and warmth. It is well-equipped, with everything you need for a long stay. The location is ideal for daily walks in the amazing Pacific Spirit Park and is a quick hop to the beach or to activities at UBC. Restaurants and amenities on Dunbar are a short walk away while the cultural fare of downtown Vancouver is easily accessible by convenient bus links. Most importantly, the hosts are super helpful and attentive. We appreciated our interactions with them from time to time on books, cinema, travel and current affairs. The three months we spent in this suite were a lot of fun and we would love to go back. Obviously, we have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending it to other caring, appreciative guests.

This suite is perfect for someone based at UBC. The neighbourhood is quiet, with convenient access to a supermarket, pharmacy, banks, and cafes. The bus service to UBC (and elsewhere) is excellent—there's no need for a car. The accommodation is spacious, warm, and comfortable. Don and Sue are friendly and welcoming. I couldn't have found a better place to stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the suite at 3914 W. 21st Ave. Our hosts were generous, kind, and gracious. The suite, itself, is very comfortable, and cozy, while spacious. It is beautifully decorated and very well appointed. It is also very well situated, with easy access to stores, banks, bus lines, and UBC. We really couldn’t have asked for more!!!

Don and Sue were kind and friendly landlords. We had a pleasant stay during the nine months we were living in their basement apartment. We found the place very spacious, clean, well-equipped and comfortable. On top of the qualities of the apartment, the area is very nice (the Pacific Spirit Park is just next door) and we were able to get easily to the UBC on bicycles or by bus. While we were there, a new grocery store opened on Dunbar Street, which made the shopping easier.
