About Me
Greetings! We moved from Illinois to our rowhouse in the Washington, DC Capitol Hill Historic District in 1999. Beth is a lawyer with an LL.M. in international Law from Georgetown and a JD from the University of Illinois. She practiced transportation law in DC for several years and that work took her to Kenya, Cape Verde and Trinidad. She is still practicing law and is also a licensed massage therapist. Roxanne is a self-employed graphic designer with clients in the government, university and non-profit sectors. She has a BFA in Graphic Design, along with a MUP in Environmental Planning, both from the University of Illinois. Beth and Roxanne have travelled together to Mexico, England, France, Germany, Austria, Canada, and across the US. Reading, gardening, volunteer service, local history, and travel are among their many interests. They share their part of the home with a pug and two cats.
