Parisian charm of a 3-room flat in front of the Buttes Chaumont Park

I am renting for colleagues on sabbatical leave or on holiday, a charming, newly refurbished 60 mq flat in the 19th arrondissement. The building, dating from the early 20th century, is situated a few steps from the enchanting Buttes Chaumont park (1867). The apartment is as follows: one bedroom with a very comfortable antique king size bed (2mx1.80); a study with view of the park, with desk, library with 19th century books and a canapé; a dining room with antique furniture and a sofa bed (sleeps two); a well equipped bathroom with a large shower and a washing machine; a kitchen with traditional oven, microwave and dishwasher. The apartment can also be rented weekly (one week, 650 euros). The monthly or weekly rent includes all the utilities, building fees, taxes, Internet, flatscreen HD TV, telephone -- free calls to all fixed lines in France and many countries abroad. Possibility of an excellent housecleaner (not included in the rent). Many food shops and restaurants nearby. Swimming-pool and gym a few steps away.Three metro stops: Laumière, Buttes Chaumont, Bolivar. The bus 75, just next door, leads you up to République and Pont- Neuf. The Bibliothèque Nationale de France is within easy reach by metro (one change at Austerlitz). The apartment is well-lit and very quiet, despite being on the 1st floor. Elevator. Non smokers only.

About Me
I teach Early Modern History at the Philosophy Dept. of the University of Rome "La Sapienza". My interests focus on intellectual history, mainly of the 17th and 18th century. I am listing my apartment in Paris, where I often go for research. I love travelling, making new friends, Art Nouveau, gardens, antique roses and books, and the Tuscan countryside. I am also very fond of antiques in general.

Me and my partner, we have spent a month in Silvia's flat. We are more than happy with this experience for several reasons. The flat is very comfortable and wide enough to spend there such a long period. It is aptly equipped, the bed is very comfortable, the living room and the dining room are also spacious; bathroom, kitchen and toilet are flawless. In our opinion it is very well located: just in front of the most beautiful Butte Chaumont parc and close to all most interesting and alive areas of the city: Belleville, Xth, XIth and XIXth arrondissement. Public transports are within six minutes walk (two metro lines), while a bus (75) taking you to the centre is just down the flat. No actual drawbacks, once you have the patience to close the shutters anytime you go out - for security/insurance reasons. Good MN 4/1/2019 7:41:00 AM
