Our home is a kid-friendly 3-storey townhouse. On the ground floor is a large, light bedroom with built-in bunk beds for 3 kids with study nooks; a small bathroom with shower and toilet and a laundry, with a front loading washing machine, dryer, large sink and linen cabinets. There is access to a small, back court yard and deck from the ground floor hallway. We have a charcoal bbq on that deck and a portable clothesline. On the second/middle floor, there is a master bedroom with king size bed; a third bedroom that is set up as a study/library but can be converted to a single bedroom and the main bathroom with shower, spa bath and toilet. The study includes a desk and bookshelves and a glass sliding door onto a large balcony. The third/top floor has lovely views over the trees and roofs of North Melbourne. There is an open plan kitchen and living area plus two balconies on different sides of the house. There is a larger balcony with a table and chairs. I enjoy cooking and the kitchen is very well equipped. The house is extremely light and airy. We have double glazing and Nobo panel heating in the bedrooms and study plus AC/cooling/heating on the top floor. Linen and vacuum cleaner can also be left in the house. In front of the house there is car port parking for two sedan sized cars; and a secure garage. Between our house and the street is another townhouse - we share an adjoining balcony on the top level that has a high fence separating the properties.
