The bungalow is a free standing unit at the back of a quiet property in Silver Lake, a fabulous neighborhood. Close to USC, Caltech, The Huntington Library, Downtown LA Music Center and arts, easy to reach UCLA, Hollywood, LACMA and more. The hardwood floors and afternoon light make for a zen, relaxing, airy and spacious living room. French doors and picture window provide plenty of light, opening to a large, shaded deck facing a beautiful cactus garden and yard with a fruiting lemon tree. The deck is perfect for morning coffee, breakfast or work outdoors. It's an excellent space for writers. (Deck includes outdoor table and couch, not pictured in photo.) The bungalow is fully furnished and will comfortably accommodate one-two people. The bedroom has a queen-sized bed, wardrobe, and closet. The living room has a beautiful, wide, extra-long couch, TV, dining table and work area. The couch is also good for sleeping for an occasional guest. There is a breakfast table on the outdoor deck, as well as an outdoor BBQ. The kitchen is fully equipped including a full-size refrigerator, stove, toaster oven, coffee maker, electric tea kettle, juicer, and microwave. The bathroom has a full-sized bathtub. The bungalow is fully air conditioned with a mini-split in the living room, and window unit in the bedroom. Wi-Fi service is provided. TV subscription services not included. The bungalow is situated at the rear of large, very quiet, secure, off-street property in a quiet residential neighborhood, offering privacy and peace for work. The property has a gated entrance and redwood fence for privacy and security, as well as security cameras throughout the property. There is parking available for one car in the driveway in front of garages. Street parking and street cleaning rules must be observed at tenant's own risk. Unfortunately we cannot have pets. The rent is $850/week $3200/month, including utilities and internet, plus a security deposit to be negotiated depending on length of stay.
