This is a sensitively renovated spacious flat in a charming seventeenth century house in the historical centre of Prague (Prague 2), next to the university botanical garden, available for rent. It is situated in Prague´s historical medical disctrict. It literally allows you to walk around the wider center of Prague (just as we like to do). Our Prague neighbourhood was founded in 1348 by Emperor Charles IV. and its southern part, where our flat is situated, offers an abundance of greenery in the midst of a historic setting. There are several gardens in our immediate vicinity. The flat is fully furnished and consists of a large living room with an adjacent fully equipped kitchen, a master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom with a ceiling and hand shower, a children's bedroom, a small study/guest room (with extra double bed) and a family bathroom with a bathtub. Both bathrooms have a bidet and underfloor heating. The apartment has wooden floors (oak), historic windows and a courtyard balcony (the so-called Pawlatche with historic elements). Everything is in walking distance (including many tram and underground lines). The place is centrally located (10 min. walk to Wenceslas Sq., 5 min to the Antonin Dvorak museum in an 18th c. villa). It is in walking distance to all major Prague opera houses (which we highly recommend). At the same time, the area is quiet, peaceful and off the main tourist tracks. The nearby Botanical garden of the Charles University, revitalised river embankments and the historic Vyšehrad fortress offer plenty of greenery and opportunities to relax. Our flat stretches on one floor across formerly two historical houses which were united in the distant past. Our house has a historical stone staircase and a modern lift. The flat can be easily accessed with a pushchair or a wheelchair. The adjacent Botanical garden is accessible for free and is ideal for running, walking, yoga or reading. The central train station is only a 15 minute walk or 2 underground stops away and it offers easy access to other major sights in the Czech Republic or cities across Europe (2 hours to Dresden, 4 hours to Berlin). This flat is our home. Please note that we cannot accept smokers and pets. We welcome enquiries with a bit of courteous introduction about yourself. We are happy to advise on activities and on what to find where locally.

Comments: Prague, historical centre. Our home is a quiet poetic place with a rich history situated only steps away from the university botanical garden and the river Vltava with plenty of cafés, restaurants, river boats and pedalos. The flat is on the list of protected historical heritage.
