We are once again subletting our sunny 9th-floor apartment. We have successfully sublet our apartment several times in the past few years. The apartment is spacious, light-filled, with parquet floors in the living room and dining area and wall to wall carpet in the bedrooms. There is a panoramic view of the Bethesda skyline from all of our windows and from the balcony. The living room has a comfy L-s-Shaped sofa and a TV with cable. The first bedroom has a queen-size bed and a West Elm daybed, which is the same size as a twin bed and can be used as a second bed in the room. This bedroom also has a desk making it possible to use as an office or homework. This bedroom has a bathroom directly across the hall. The primary bedroom has a queen-size bed and a desk that is partitioned off from the bed. There is also a TV in this primary bedroom (cable is included). Each room: living room and both bedrooms have their own thermostats and can be regulated independently. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking items. The stove is gas with 4 burners and a center griddle. There is also a dishwasher, full size refrigerator and granite counter tops. There are washers and dryers are down the hall on the same floor. Bethesda has a Walk Score of 97 out of 100. Our location is a "Walker’s Paradise" so daily errands do not require a car. Tons of great restaurants, yoga and palates studios, gyms, theaters, coffee shops, The Apple Store, Pottery Barn and a vintage 24 hour diner and more are all walking distance from your front door. There is a Harris Teeter supermarket down the street and a Sunday farmers market with in walking distance as well. The Bethesda Farm Women's Market is open on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. If you are traveling with children, the elementary school and high school are also walking distance from our place. You can walk to the Bethesda Red Line Metro stop, and the free Bethesda Circulator stops across the street. If you are not ready for public transportation yet once again your two parking spaces are waiting for you. Two parking lots attached to the building; spaces are not reserved but there is plenty of space. And, if Bikes are your thing Bethesda also boasts a biking score of 85. Residents in town use the Capital Crescent Trail which will take you to Georgetown in the district for daily commuting by bike. The trail is also great for walking and jogging. Utilities, wifi and cable are included. ***Our building requires an application with a fee of $100.
