We have front and back gardens and are located on a close (culdesack) which means minimal traffic and extra green space to enjoy. There is an attached garage with on-property and/or on-street parking. The house was remodeled in 2014 and boasts an open floor plan with hardwood floors, skylights and a creative, modern aesthetic. Ground Floor: The entry way has space for jackets and shoes and enters into a transition space with a half bath. The kitchen/dining room is open floor plan with two double glazed doors that open onto the back garden, and 3 large velux skylights to let in the natural light. Adjacent to the living/dining space is a family/sitting room with a large TV, a clavinova piano, and a children's playroom which could be cleared to be an extra free space if desired. Double glazed doors open onto the back garden; a large velux skylight lets in extra light. On the other side of the dining space is a utility room with sink, washer, and dryer. The utility room opens into the garage. On the first floor are 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms: Bedroom 1: South facing with a big window and carpet. Currently has 2 toddler beds and a dresser but we can remove the toddler beds if desired. Bedroom 2: North facing with a big window and hardwood floors. Currently used as a guest room with a double bed, and an office with a sit-stand eletric desk and ample closet space. Bedroom 3: North facing with a big window and hardwood floors and throw rug. Single bed, chest of drawers & small bookshelf. Bedroom 4: Master bedroom with lofted celing, skylights, and hardwood floor. Walk-in closet and en suite bathroom with shower and toilet. Bathroom 2: South facing with large, opaque window. Shower, bath, tiled floors. Front Garden & Driveway: Southfacing onto the Close. Flower beds and driveway suitable for a small car; on street parking also available for free. Rear Garden: Flagstone patio; flower beds; 2 apple trees and a winter-blooming cherry tree; rockery. Small garden shed; garden furniture includes teak table, couch with cushions, trampoline (can be removed). The house is fully furnished with scandinavian/modern/unique finds. We would leave the kitchen fully furnished as well, including microwave and nespresso coffee maker.

Comments: Cambridge is an epicenter of culture, education, and natural beauty. In addition to wonderful shows, food, and activities, where are direct trains to London (55 minutes).
Comments: Negotiable rate for stays longer than one week.
It would be helpful if you collect the mail. We would not expect deliveries while we are gone.
Indoor and outdoor plants need watering; it would be helpful if you could let the gardener through once or twice.

Comments: We have a fully furnished house with four bedrooms: two rooms with double beds, one of which also serves as an office. We have two bedrooms currently fit for children, one with a single bed and one with two toddler beds, which could be removed.
