We’re looking for mature people to responsibly enjoy our home in Lansing, NY. Available for rent from mid-May through late October. Rental period spans local graduation and reunion weekends. The home is surrounded by 52 acres of woods with a lake view. The home is solar-powered, grid-tied, and fully furnished, in an extremely private setting. Bedroom (double bed), full bathroom with a shower, kitchen (induction stovetop; double freezer units; double fridge drawers), dining area, living room with a futon that expands to a double bed, picnic table on a huge deck that overlooks the lawn and Cayuga Lake (accessible via trails and road). Ample parking. Washing machine and outside laundry lines (the dryer is ventless, built into the washer, and takes forever!). Cornell and Wells College are 25 minutes away by car; it's about 40 minutes to SUNY-Cortland; 25 minutes to Cayuga Medical Center. Bell Station, a large public preserve on the shores of Cayuga Lake, is a few miles north of our property. The Cayuga Cliffs Preserve, owned by the Finger Lakes Land Trust and available to the public, is a mile south of our road. With beautiful waterfalls and woods, it also offers lake views.
