You will love exposed wooden beams showing 500+ years of history...the exposed stone walls...the exotic hardwood floors...the fully equipped kitchen...the authentic marine lights...the antique furniture retrofitted into a bathroom sink. And don't forget about the giant catamaran hammock, where you can relax with a pillow and blankets. This apartment has new double-insulated windows and is extremely quiet. The windows all open into an interior open-air staircase. This means that there is no street noise at all (but also less light than an apartment that faces directly onto a street). The apartment building houses just 4 families, plus an art gallery on the main floor. We all know each other well, so your neighbors will likely say hello and stop by for a chat (en français, bien sûr!).
