Charming Cottage in North Oakland for Rent or Swap

I am an educator; my husband is an audio engineer. We are also playwright composers who have a band together. We write music for theater. Our beautiful, 3-bedroom cottage is peaceful, sunny and full of charm. We have an open living / dining room, an eat-in kitchen, three small bedrooms, a full bath and a bonus office space in the main house. We also have a detached garage that we've converted into a second office with a half bath. Our garden is a little paradise, complete with Adirondacks, a fire pit, and cafe lights. There's plenty of parking in our driveway, and we're happy to negotiate the use of our car, as well. We live in a great neighborhood, with friendly folks and several restaurants, coffee shops and bars within walking distance. We're a ten minute drive from UC Berkeley, a fifteen minute drive from innumerable hikes in various state and regional parks, and a twenty minute drive to downtown SF (traffic permitting!). Not to mention the ocean, the mountains, and wine country all within an hour or so ... we're biased, but we think it's pretty much paradise!
