We are a family of academics who prefer to stay in this southern suburb of Paris, which has the feel of a quaint, quiet, and typical French village, while being just a short subway ride to the heart of Paris. The apartment is a 5 minute walk to the subway station with easy and quick access to the center of Paris: Chatelet, Notre-Dame, and the left bank are only 20 minutes away via the RER B (this is also the direct line to go to the major airports: Charles de Gaulle and Orly). The apartment is walking distance to Parc de Sceaux, the largest and most beautiful park in the South of Paris. You will enjoy walking there or having a picnic. You will experience the feel of being in a small French village with local artisan shops, supermarkets, open-air markets, cafes, and restaurants in the Bourg-La-Reine city center, which is just a short 5 minute walk away. The neighborhood is quiet and safe.
