Old-World Spanish Gem Near UCLA, Beach and 405

Gorgeous Spanish-style home with all its original architectural features. They just don't make them like this anymore! Beautiful pollinator garden in the front courtyard. You can throw open the windows from the breakfast nook in the morning and have coffee with butterflies and hummingbirds. This is my childhood home, which is still filled with my parents' books, art and Danish modern furniture, so I would love renters who appreciate all those things. The boring stuff: house has 3 bedrooms, with one full bath and one-half bath. There's a studio above the garage with a full bathroom, which could be a quiet office/studio or guest house. Large backyard with recently installed (fake) grass, which dogs love to run around. Definitely bring your four-legged friends! (As well as your amphibians or fish. All non-humans welcome). The neighborhood is likely the quietest one in Los Angeles, great for strolling around winding hills. If you're a shopper, Century City is a 5-minute drive or a fun walk, and if you're a golfer, Rancho Park golf course is 15-minute walk. If you have little ones in need of an education, Overland Avenue School (award-winning, and the alma mater of yours truly) is two blocks away. Walking distance to metro, for those of you going to USC, or DTLA. Near both the 10 freeway and the 405, for easy access to other UC or Cal State schools. The house has a full-size bed in one bedroom, a king-sized bed in the main bedroom, and a sleeper sofa in the third bedroom. The bedroom with the full-sized bed also has a desk ready for you -- that room is perfect for an office. I would prefer to not move any of the furniture and to be able to leave all the art and books but are willing to work with you. Always happy to send more photos to interested tenants or have a FaceTime call to show you everything. The front courtyard has a pollinator garden, which we would love you to keep an eye on. The backyard has fake grass (drought, after all) but is therefore good for kids and dogs -- both welcome. All pets welcome.
