Designed by world famous architect Richard Neutra in 1949, and meticulously restored to its pristine glory, this jewel of a house perched in the south hills has stunning views west and north, of Missoula Valley/ UM and Rattlesnake Wilderness. The Guest Suite is a spacious one-bedroom apartment with clerestory windows, separate entrance, dimming LED strip lighting, and BRAND NEW EVERYTHING (in kitchenette & bathroom). Bright Heath tile and sleek fixtures in bathroom and kichenette, which is completely new-- new fridge, new electric range, new dishwasher, toaster oven There's nearly an acre of surrounding yard (shared with upstairs tenat) rambling private driveway, and a wide, handsome community park next door. Just as Neutra imagined it, the open plan plus brand new HVAC system brings you in contact with nature in all four seasons: warm and cozy in the winter, apple crisp in the autumn, bright and breezy in the spring, cool respite in dog days of summer. We've decorated with a curated, "handmade modern" feeling, beautiful vintage furniture, lots of art, to make the most of the space (and the climate). Overlooking the University District, very close to shopping centers, boutique shops, restaurants; 8-minute drive or free bus to downtown; 25 minutes to Snobowl ski area; 15 minutes to Pattee Canyon Recreation Area; 20 minutes to airport, 10-15 minutes and you're on (or IN) the Bitterroot, Clarkfork or Blackfoot river.
