This flat is in a leafy and quiet complex with 2 swimming pools and a gym yet just a short walk to the city. On the second (top) floor, with no elevator, the living room has a small north-facing balcony. Downstairs is a bedroom with built in robes, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with shower. Upstairs is a large mezzanine. I use this space as an office but it also has a single bed. You will have access to the swimming pools as well as a fully equipped gym. Several universities (Australian Catholic University, RMIT) are in walking distance, and the University of Melbourne is a short tram ride away. You can also walk to Flinders Street, the main train station. The beautiful Fitzroy Gardens are a 5 minute walk away. Some of Melbourne's best neighbourhoods such as Fitzroy, Richmond and Carlton are also within walking distance, with a host of pubs, restaurants and shops to choose from.

Comments: The flat is a short walk to downtown Melbourne. It is also walking distance to the Australian Catholic University as well as RMIT, and a short tram ride to the University of Melbourne. The main rail station, Flinders Street, is a 15 minute walk.
