a perfect place to work remotely, explore, relax and renew! we selected this village because it is safe, clean and quiet but lively year round. the villa was fully renovated 5 years ago making it very comfortable but maintaining the charm and architectural integrity. we installed a new modern kitchen, converted the pool to salt water and installed radiant heat. the area offers endless possibilities for recreation with amazing hiking along the coastal path, year round golf, and skiing in the pyrenees. climate is agreeable year round with many days of sun but enough rain to keep everything green. it is an expat community so english is widely spoken, as well as catalan, spanish and french. food is healthy, interesting and delicious. locals are kind, restrained and helpful. it is very easy to explore other parts of spain and europe from girona or barcelona.
