Stunning Edwardian with separate studio, near Universities, Cafes and Parks

We moved to Australia from our home country Gemany in 2006. After a substantial upgrade we moved into our current home in 2019. Our renovation included adding solar panels, roof insulation, triple glazed windows throughout, designer hydronic heaters, water tanks, exterior blinds, flyscreens and openable velux windows. It is now the most energy efficient period home we have seen. You will never be hot in summer or cold in winter, in any of the rooms. We also renovated the studio in the back which is perfect for hosting guests and can be used as an office space. It comes with a sparkling new bathroom and a kitchenette. The house is located in Brunswick which is one of the hippest suburbs in town and close to the CBD. We love the fact that we are so close to tennis, golf, the zoo, playgrounds, some of the best cafes and clubs and shops and to Melbourne's Royal Park, the largest public park in our city. We are right next to bike lanes and our address is in the zone for multiple great public schools. Monash pharmacy school campus and Melbourne University are also closeby and can be reached by tram stop and train station next door. Michael runs his career counseling & coaching practice. Hyun is a passionate cancer researcher/clinician who works for a cancer hospital nearby. We love the Melburnian lifestyle. We enjoy the outdoors as much as we can and we explore the Australian landscapes whenever we have time. When we are not in our cozy home we go camping and bushwalking. In winter we like to organise the occasional trip to the nearby snow fields. There is so much to discover in and around Melbourne. The variety and quality of food and produce is second to none. It is a child friendly environment with playgrounds indoors and outdoors everywhere. So there is always something you can do even if it's only hanging out in the park across the street.
