Our neighborhood is quiet, close to two parks (Parc Sutter and Jardin des Chartreux), and the Place des Terreaux or the old town of Lyon are only a 10-15 minute walk away. 2 bus lines serve a stop located 1 minute away. The Croix-Rousse market is a 10-minute walk away and takes place every morning, and stores are a 5-10 minute walk away. Cultural outings (cinemas, opera, theaters, museums) are within easy reach, as well as numerous cafés and restaurants. The kindergarten and elementary school (public and very reputable) are 100 meters away, the public college of La Tourette or the private college of Les Chartreux (also high school) are 500 meters away. The public high school Diderot is 200 meters from the apartment. Our historical building is called the Maison Brunet (see link below), and was initially built for silk weavers. Appartements have high ceiling (3m60) initially to allow for the weaving machines. The whole appartement was renovated in 2019. It consists of a large living room with an open kitchen. There is a mezzanine above the kitchen with a couch and an attic. There are two children rooms with mezzanine. The parental room has a large dressing and an office with shelves. There are two small bathrooms with each a shower. There is a restroom and a small laundry room. The appartement is on the 5th floor, oriented North and East. The overall surface is 90 m^2 plus about 30 m^2 for 4 mezzanines.
