Central London flat- walk to LSE, UCL, British Library, King's College

Our home is ideally suited to a couple or single person looking to spend time in the very heart of London. Located a few minutes walk from Holborn station, we are about as central as you can get! Walkable to many major London Universities and hospitals. Our second bedroom is set up as an office, and the dining table has built in bench seating so there are two workspaces if a couple are working from home (as we often do). We are situated on a square, which means you get light on both sides of the flat even during the winter and the location is fairly quiet, especially for the middle of the city. Easy access to buses and two tube lines (Central and Piccadilly, which goes all the way to Heathrow), but many attractions are walking distance also such as Covent Garden, the British Museum, the National Gallery, the Tate Modern, Southbank Centre with the National Theatre, and the Royal Opera House. Minutes away is Lamb's Conduit Street, recently voted one of London's cutest streets, and next door is Conway Hall which offers Sunday chamber music concerts as well as talks and other events. The building itself is a 1950's apartment block which could definitely be more beautiful, but it does have a security door and a lift and the flat has been lovingly renovated over the last few years into a truly unique and comfortable home. We love to cook and the kitchen is stocked with everything a home cook should need. A gym with no-contract options is literally around the corner, as well as public pay-per-hour tennis courts nearby. We have relocated back to Los Angeles after living in London for the last few years, but we love to return in the summers to visit. We've had wonderful experiences renting through Sabbatical Homes over the last year, and look forward to continuing to host visitors through this platform!
