We are two academics and passionate nature-lovers as well as bird-watchers. The separate apartment, of about 90 m², is located on the second floor of our completely renovated historical house, equipped with thermal insulation, solar and photovoltaic panels, so as to almost eliminate the environmental impact. Heated in winter by means of a heat pump, the apartment is also equipped with a forced ventilation system, which keeps the temperature constant and guarantees refrigeration and dehumidification during the hottest summer days by using water from our well. The apartment consists of a sizeable kitchen with balcony, a large living room with parquet flooring and two balconies, a spacious bedroom, a small bedroom with balcony and two fully equipped bathrooms. It also has comfortable interior spaces, with quiet environments that can also potentially be used for working; for this purpose, there are two desks, one in the living room and one in the bedroom. A fast and reliable internet connection can be used for work and leisure. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a dishwasher. The furniture is entirely new and complete. The apartment boasts a panoramic view to the east towards the plain, to the south towards the hills and to the west towards the high mountains. There is also a garden for exclusive use, with aromatic herbs and shrubs abundantly blooming from late winter to late autumn. The house is located in a quiet residential area, surrounded by greenery and yet not isolated. Notably, an award-winning baker and two grocers are within a 5-minute walk and any other needs can be catered for within a distance of no more than half a mile. Starting from the house, without the need to use private or public transport, you have access to splendid walks in the countryside, fascinating at any time of the year. Using the car or public transport, you can then access numerous routes of considerable scenic value, or you can discover the cities in the more or less immediate vicinity. Specifically, Turin with its museums and its precious architecture is only 55 km away. The apartment is perfectly suited both for a holiday for up to 6 people and for a working stay. Those who want to have rest will find spaces free from any disturbance; for those who like communication we will be gladly available.
