Lovely, well maintained, three-bedroom, three-bath house. Great neighborhood, great public schools, two traffic lights to DC. Pets negotiable. Three bedrooms and three full baths, plus a study that could be made into 4th bedroom. Living room, family room, eat-in kitchen, and more. Central AC, washer/dryer, internet-connected TV in family room. Large yard on a quiet street in McLean, on the border with Arlington (very close to DC). Very well-equipped kitchen. Two outdoor patios with wood furniture. Lawn service included. Pets negotiable. Need a car. (We would consider leasing our 2010 Subaru, which is in excellent shape). WiFi throughout the house; fast (1G) internet included. Utilities (gas, electric and water) not included. NO SMOKING. Great work from home space - there are two studies upstairs. Suitable for a couple or a family with children at home, small or otherwise. Lots of families on our block; all very welcoming. We have lived in this house for 30 years but will be moving to NYC for a year to be near our daughter and see if we like city living. House is available from July 15, 2023, through June 30, 2024, with possible extension through end of August 2024. Start and end dates somewhat negotiable. Prefer 12 month rental, but would consider 4 month rental from September - December, 2023, or 5 ½ month rental (July 15 - December 31, 2023). . Monthly rent is $4,000 a month for 12-month rental. House is fully furnished; you need bring nothing but yourselves, your clothes, and any special items. Main floor: eat-in kitchen, living room, dining room, family room; sliding glass doors to patio/yard. Kitchen has Bosch stove, convection microwave, dishwasher, Breville toaster oven, drip coffee maker and more. Top floor: master bedroom with en suite bathroom (shower); one bedroom with a twin bed that is also set up as a study, one study (that could be made into a bedroom with a twin bed); and full hall bathroom (with bathtub). Lower floor: (walkout basement with windows): one bedroom with full-sized bed, bathroom with shower, sitting room and utility/laundry room. There is one other small room that will not be accessible where we will store some items while we are out of town. Yard: the patio off the family room has table for 6 people and has planters where we plant fresh herbs every May. There is also a bluestone patio in the back, with furniture and a firepit. Weber gas grill near the kitchen, that is under cover, which we use year-round, rain or shine. In the front yard, there is a 4’ x8’ vegetable garden if you are so inclined. Beautiful plantings from Spring to Fall, literally hundreds of Japanese purple irises in front, many gorgeous hydrangeas, quite a few crepe myrtles, hellebores and other flowering plants in back. Low maintenance plantings of perennials. We will continue/pay for lawn mowing. Only 10 photos allowed on this site, some rooms and outdoor space not pictured.
