We are an English/Swedish/Austrian academic family with two kids. We'll be in Gothenburg, Sweden for the academic year so are looking to rent out our apartment in that time or, alternately, exchange with someone in Gothenburg. The apartment is equipped with five furnished rooms—three bedrooms, plus a living room/kitchen and an office—and two bathrooms. Or, depending on how you use it, it can be two bedrooms, and two offices. It’s ideally suited for a family with one or two kids. Baby cribs are available on request, one room has a bunk bed for kids. It’s just a meter or two shy of 100 square meters, a one-story walk-up (no elevator). Lots of toys for children under the age of 5, which you can make use of if you take care. ;) Well equipped for two academics working from home, or making regular outings to universities, museums, parks, etc. It’s centrally located on Falckensteinstraße, two blocks from the Schlesiches Tor metro station; three supermarkets within a one-block radius, as well as Görlitzer Park and many other dining and recreational amenities.
