Rent is $2500 for a 2 bedroom with 2 baths. Queen beds in each room. $2250 for the 1/1. ( I close off my bathroom and bedroom) cleaning fee of $150 at move in. Refundable deposit of $2000. The home itself is a 1800 sq foot single floor with high ceilings. There are ceiling fans throughout with hardwood floors and fine carpets. The kitchen was totally upgraded 4 years ago and I think you will find everything you need to prepare a grand meal. I love the open floor plan and all the windows. A large smart TV is above the gas fireplace which is wonderful in the winter. You won't be needing that in the summer that's for sure. As I mentioned before, my bike is available in the garage for your use and there are places close by to rent E bikes. Store your suitcases in the storage closets in the garage if you like, and use my coolers and folding chairs for a picnic. This is my home. Spices, condiments, and food is often left for you to consume. I won't throw out eggs I just purchased, so enjoy them. I have a Kurig for coffee as well as sugar and half and half for you to get started. In return anything you use up, please replace for me to have when I come home. My home is a duplex with a lovely renter next-door who deals in fine wines and she is a painter. The units are totally separate. The home is in a quiet neighborhood close to many adventures. Zilker Park, Barton Springs for swimming, and the hike and bike trail are all within .5 miles of my home. There is a 220 sq foot screened in porch that allows for internet access. Great for morning coffee while reading the news and also perfect for evening beverages and chatting or making music with friends. Many restaurants are located within walking distance, as is the local convenience store. Austin is known as the Live Music Capitol of the World. Within a short Uber ride you can see many musicians at all times of the day and night. Gospel Brunch at El Mercado 11:30am-1:30pm each Sunday is one of my favorites. Also most music at the Saxon Pub is excellent with early starting times if you are needing your sleep. Grassy Thursday at The St Elmo Brewery will take care of your Bluegrass cravings. Brown's BBQ, I think, is the best in town and is less than a mile away. Mexican food comes in all types (Tex Mex, Interior etc.) and is everywhere. I also love Super Thai, again, less than a mile from here. The YMCA is just across the river, less than a 5 minute drive. They have pickleball at all different hours of the day and evening. Most of the rec. centers have free pickleball if you aren't a Y member. Tennis and basketball are also available at the rec. centers. Zilker Park has soccer on the great lawn and the sand volleyball courts are in use often. The Hill Country is less than a 2 hour drive away. It is a great place to explore and stay over night. Great for camping (I have tents you can use), shopping and antiquing. You can drive south to get to the Gulf Coast for birding, or playing in the ocean and sand.
