Cute bungalow, quiet, close to universities/colleges and downtown

We would love to find some responsible quiet tenants to use our fully furnished house while we are abroad for the school year. This newly renovated house was originally built in 1922 but has recently had renovations done to the front room, bathroom, and kitchen. Brand new appliances in the kitchen with a French door refrigerator, gas stove, Bosch dishwasher, and laundry room with washer and dryer are currently underway. The kitchen area also has a bar area and a lot of windows with a kitchen table suitable for work use. The bedrooms are suitable for a couple and possibly a small child as there is a queen bed in one room and a twin in the other. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and some storage where we will leave towels and a first aid kit. The front room has vaulted ceilings and a large 65 inch smart TV, dining room, and couch and loveseat. The backyard is surrounded by mature trees and fully fenced in with a large deck and fire pit. Out front, there is a small front porch with a porch swing, where we drink our coffee and watch the sunrise. The neighbors on both sides of our home own the houses and across the street, there are rentals but the landlord finds quiet tenants because he also owns Tiger Tots, a daycare, and wants the street suitable for children. Our street is a dead end with a cul-de-sac with mature trees and is quiet. We love our location as we often walk downtown for dinner, drinks, or to shop. We are very close to Logboat (a local brewery), Pasta La Fata (an Italian Eatery), Root Cellar (an organic/local grocer), and Biscuit Bar (a local southern restaurant). Getting to Stephen's or Columbia College would take no more than 15 minutes of walking and the University of Missouri is about 20. There is also a lovely park about half a mile away called Stephen's Lake that has lovely facilities for walking/running, swimming, sledding, and bird watching. The closest trailhead to the MKT trail is about a mile and a half, at the Flat Branch Park area downtown. We bought the house in 2007, and then lived here with my daughter who is still in the area, but in 2014 my husband and I started teaching overseas to American students living in Singapore. Now, we're headed to Tokyo to work at the American School in Japan and would love to offer our lovely home for others to use while we're away. We have furnished the home largely from our travels, so you will find a lovely assortment of rugs from India, teak furnishings from Indonesia, and a beautiful Saur wood dining room table. In addition, my grandparents sold antiques, so I have inherited some lovely furnishings that add some traditional elements to the boho style. We also have a 2022 Subaru Forrester that could be arranged for your use. You would need to fully insure the vehicle, pay a rental fee to cover property taxes and wear and tear. If the vehicle needs any maintenance or mechanical issues then I would also expect this to be taken care of, but would want the vehicle to only be used in town. I also will be leaving my bike, which is old but very comfortable for a women rider on the trail or to commute. All in all, we're hoping someone responsible can use and enjoy the life we've built in the US while we're away.
