I've been teaching public high school for 20 years and I'm taking a one-year leave of absence to develop a new curriculum about teacher burnout prevention and to organize workshops and retreats for educators dealing with burnout with a focus on mindfulness and meditaiton. This modern, gorgeous home is a uniquely designed dream house with one-of-kind art pieces and plants everywhere. Superior craftmanship with fir and hemlock, exposed pipe and beams lend it that industrial but classy look and the comfy furniture and natural light make it feel homey. The first floor has 2 bedrooms, a full bathroom and a living room, the second floor is the kitchen and another living room and the third floor has a master bedroom, master bathroom and a deck with excellent views of the neighborhood. The home is steps away from multiple frequent-service bus lines, a terrific ramen & whiskey spot, a pizza joint, two coffee shops, and, best of all, a Trader Joe's! It's is about two miles south of the trendy Hawthorne district, one mile south of nationally-recognized culinary adventure Division Street.
