We are looking to rent for the 2023/24 academic year (late August through May, dates flexible) to quiet and considerate adults, ideally visiting professors or post-docs. Our beautiful, fully furnished condo is located in downtown Northampton, one block from Smith College, right next to restaurants, coffee shops, bike paths, hiking trails, rivers, and lakes. It’s a short walk to the Amtrak and inter-city bus station; easy walk/bike/drive to any of the Five Colleges in the area; we are right on the bus route. Everything is here on one floor; there is an open-concept living room flowing into a dining room and a fully-equipped kitchen. Bookshelves for your books, and a desk for your computer & papers. There is a door to a private patio with garden furniture and lovely plantings. There is a full bathroom with a cut-out tub/shower. Two bedrooms with super-comfortable mattresses, one full and one queen. Central air conditioning and gas heat. There are gated parking spots right outside the door, and laundry on the same floor. We will consider advanced graduate students. Our place can work well either for a couple or two roommates. Our place is not a good fit for children or pets. Possible renewal of the lease for one year.
