My home is nestled in the peaceful surroundings of Piedmont Pines, the hills above the adorable Village of Montclair. The home is walking distance from the beautiful Redwood Regional park. Good local restaurants and several grocery stores, a local library, yoga and pilates studios as well as gyms are in town. The fact that you are walking distance from some of the largest regional parks is a bonus if you like the outdoors for hiking or biking. You are also just a 5 min drive away from Lake Merritt and Piedmont, as well as the Grand Lake theater and community. Just down the hill are public transportation buses into the City, Berkeley or downtown Oakland. And Rockridge BART is less than a 10 min drive. On a good day during non-commute times, you can make it into downtown SF in 20 min. The home is close to major freeways, 580, 13, 24 and 80. I am a former corporate Agile teacher and strategy consultant / executive coach for 25+ years. I then transitioned over to healthcare advocacy, preventative health and most recently am an international speaker on the topic of the neuroscience of sound, sound therapy and ancient healing traditions, and broader consciousness access. I am assisting with my elderly mother in the North Bay after my father passed away - so I have opened up my home for a year while I spend time with her. My home is in exceptional condition. And is still decorated with my own beautiful and cherished furniture. I was given Superhost status with only 5 star ratings from guests from another app --whom are always incredibly complementary of my home stating how cozy and beautiful it is (both inside and out). They say it feels like a ‘home away from home’. This is not your normal rental, it is far too nice. Because I care so much about my space, I also offer cleaning services and regular garden services to ensure the home is maintained. For longer term stays, ideally not pets, but a dog I may be willing to house, absolutely no cats due to allergies.
