Gorgeous views, secluded feeling, but convenient location near U of Utah.

We fell in love with this location 7 years ago, and did a complete remodel to make this house a place of refuge, peace, and inspiration. We created a private apartment here that our guests have found to be a wonderful place to call home for periods of time. Everything it updated and new. This is a comfortable, well-designed, convenient living space. There are 2 large bedrooms, with a King bed in one, and a Queen and Twin bed in the second. There is a full bathroom, with plenty of extra linens. There is a full kitchen which is supplied with dishes and pots and pans, as well as small appliances. There is also a laundry room with a washer and dryer. All utilities are included in the rental price. We have a dedicated WiFi for the apartment, and high speed internet. There is a TV with cable in the apartment. There is a gas grill on the patio next to the apartment entrance, and a deck a few feet away, which has a stunning view of Mount Olympus. We have created beautiful spaces in the garden, patio and decks that provide gorgeous views while working, relaxing or visiting outside. This home is close to a number of trails that lead into the nearby canyons, or along the mountains of the Wasatch Front on the east side of Salt Lake City. Park City, or the resorts of Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons are only minutes away. It only takes 15-20 minutes to drive to University of Utah, or downtown Salt Lake City, or the Salt Lake City Airport. There are many excellent restaurants and shops nearby. Even though this is a convenient location, the neighborhood is quiet, with a secluded feeling. It is a beautiful place in all seasons. We have a dedicated off street parking space for one car for the apartment, or two if they park in tandem. While we have worked to make a relaxing and beautiful garden and outdoor spaces, we do not have a fenced in yard. This is something to consider if you have very young children. But this is wonderful neighborhood for a variety of families. We have a sloping walkway that leads from the front of the house around the back to the entrance to the apartment. There are no steps or stairs that need to be navigated. The HVAC system is new, and is shared with the main part of the house. We do have a no pets and no smoking or vaping policy.
