Ideally located in a quiet residential area in Calahonda, right between Fuengirola and Marbella, in 10 min walk to the beach, our house is a original 1970 chalet. Our large garden (800 m2) is inhabited by old pine trees, avoiding air-condition and providing eco friendly temperature balance in summer. With two terraces its ideal for creative work or just for recovering - doing nothing at all while listening to the wind moving the branches! The large windows of the living room overlook the garden and allow a glimpse at the sea. For musicians, composers, concert rehearsals: we have a piano in the living room - in case you need something bigger - a steinway can always be hired...we can also provide contact to the acclaimed Collegium Musicum in Fuengirola (15 km away) if you want to spent time with violinists and other orchestra musicians. - Perfect location for hikes in the mountains and visits to the andalusian pueblos blancos - the white villages - and cities like eternal Ronda, Granada, Sevilla, Cordoba, etc. - Perfect location to visit Málagas great sites and art museums: Picasso Museum, Thyssen Bornemisza, Centre Pompidou, CAC among others. - for foodies who like to cook: great fish at the markets in Fuengirola, Marbella, Málaga - organic farmers market every sunday in Coín and in Elviria Las Chapas. - for foodies who want to eat: from michelin starred restaurants to quieter, more down-to-earth, and authentic side you will find everything along the coast or in the hills. But whichever appeals to you more, vegan bars or breakfast churros - ingredient quality is high level and service friendly. - Cafes and stores in 10 min walking distance. I am a german spanish filmmaker living between Germany and Spain. I am offering my beautiful, well-cared-for home in Calahonda for rent to academics, musicians, writers, artists, and other creative people who would know to appreciate the unique location, vintage ceramics, Moroccan rugs and the atmosphere of house & garden, make themselves feel at home, and take good care of the place while I am away. Individuals, couples and families are welcome, but not pets. There are two double bedrooms and one single, two bathrooms, open kitchen, fireplace. So the place is suitable for four to five persons (max). While I am flexible, I do prefer serious longer-term tenants, staying for two weeks at least.
