Rural home in beautiful Nelson BC, looking for sabbatical tenants

We are a professor (University of British Columbia) and social worker with a property in the small town of Procter on Kootenay Lake, a 45 minute drive from the unique town of Nelson BC, Canada. This 3 acre rural property is situated on an agricultural land reserve about 200 meters from Kootenay Lake. 360 degree views of the surrounding mountains and expansive starry skies provides opportunities for reflection, inspiration, and rejuvenation. , Kids will remember days at the lake, walks in the fields, and incredible wildlife galore (fresh water Kokanee salmon, magical old growth forests, eagles, ospreys, herons, deer, bumble bees). We have two homes for rent on the property. The first is a furnished two bedroom /bathroom (3200 sq foot) A-frame home with vaulted ceilings and an attic master bedroom, guest bedroom, an office area (with a futon), open concept kitchen/living room area, and finished basement. ($2450 CDN per month which includes utilities - heat, highspeed wifi/printer, or $180 per night (5 night stay min), plus a $125 CDN "end of stay" cleaning fee). The second is a furnished one bedroom (650 sq foot) cabin with high ceilings and large windows with spectacular views of the mountains. ($1450 CDN per month which includes utilities - heat, high speed wifi/printer, or $80 per night (5 night stay min.), plus $125 CDN "end of stay" cleaning fee) Both homes have equipped kitchens and BBQ areas with outdoor seating. Access to laundry room is available for longer term bookings. Procter is located 45 minute drive from Nelson, which is known for arts, culture, funky shops, restaurants and breweries. Driving 30 minutes east along the lake from Nelson, you hop on the free 10 minute Harrop/Procter ferry (which runs 24/7) and drive 5 minutes east to our property. Procter is a gem of a rural hideaway with a general store (gas, wine/beer, items you need in a pinch), and a local cafe which is a destination for cyclists seeking a fresh cinnamon bun and coffee. A great place to reboot, breathe the fresh air, star gaze at night, and experience the incredible beauty of the West Kootenays in British Columbia, Canada.
