The apartment is in the first arrondissement, near the Louvre, Comédie Française, the old Bibliothèque Nationale (site Richelieu), and nearby gardens including the Palais Royale and the Tuileries. It is on the seventh floor in a quiet 18th c. building, an easy and handsome staircase, but no elevator as not uncommon in this area. Newly renovated common areas with small ownership. The apartment is well laid out and fully equiped. It has a separate compact clothes washer and compact dryer, small corner kitchen with window, a separate bedroom with queen-sized bed and good storage and a small sofa in the living room, dining table with chairs, bookshelves, writing desk with Aeron typing chair. Well fit out and comfortable in a small, quiet, residential building between rue St Anne and rue de Richelieu. Closest Metros are Pyramide and Palais Royale, surrounded by network of metro (subway) lines and buses or easy to bike everywhere. A good writing space and also a great neighbourhood, fantastic for food, markets, public gardens, passages, walks etc. Rent: $1600 USD/month with one month holding deposit/security. Rent includes all building charges, land line phone, high speed internet, and electricity. We ask a half month holding-security deposit at the time we reach agreement and take off the market.
