This is a shared accommodation located in our fully renovated, Victorian home. We have 2 separate bedrooms located on the 3rd floor. Bedroom #3 and #4, are both at tree top level with lots of bright natural light streaming through the many windows, Modern with a minimalist decor. Each room had its own en-suite, with all amenities (hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, soap and laundry detergent) including bed and bathroom linens. Laundry facilities washer, dryer and laundry sink, on the 3rd floor private to you, There is also a kitchenette in the 3rd floor laundry for snacks, breakfast, and light meals. Access to the communal kitchen on the main floor where you will be assigned your own fridge drawer. The bedrooms are free of any of our personal effects so it’s easy to make the space your own and be totally private and very comfortable. Includes High-speed Internet What is shared: The main floor which consists of the kitchen, dining and sitting area. On the exterior: A covered front porch and a semi-covered back porch and a back yard garden. BEDROOM DETAILS: - #3 . A spacious, X large bedroom with a queen memory foam mattress and a large sitting area and work area with a desk and chair. Total of 500 sq. ft., (46.45 sq m). Cost CAD$950.0/week for one person. Inclusive of all fees. An additional CAD$20.00 /night for a second person. - # 4 bedroom. Regular sized 220 Sf. ft. (20.4 sq m) with a Queen Sized bed with aMemory foam mattress, with your own en suite shower room and a slipper chair. CAD$750.00/ person / week all inclusive of fees. An additional CAD$25.00/night for a second person. The kitchenette on the third floor is set up with a Kurig coffee machine, a kettle, and a microwave and a sink. Ideal to make a coffee, an instant soup or heat up a frozen meal or pizza in the microwave. (There is no stove or cooktop in this space but you are welcome to use the main floor kitchen and you will be assigned your own pull out fridge draw in the main kitchen. You will have full access to all the common area, consisting of a dining, living, kitchen, sunroom, and front and back porches and backyard in the warmer months. The neighbourhood is a vibrant and safe residential area,. We are directly across from the leafy Christie Park and five minute walk to Christie Subway. A highly walkable area where all amenities are close by. Only steps to public transit, or a leisurely walk to the University of Toronto, ROM, Royal Conservatory of music, Koerner Hall, all the hospitals on University Avenue and so much more. There is a wide selection of affordable neighbourhood eateries. Lots of Fruit markets on Bloor Street, and Fiesta Organic Farms http://fiesta.ca/ . Loblaws and Farm Boy superstore are A 12 minute walk north We enjoy hosting visiting professionals, from academia, medical doctors, post doctorate and doctorate students etc.. who are attending conferences, or are guest lecturing, doing research etc..
