Charming flat close to Leipzig University, the city center, parks and lakes

We are a family of 4 and enjoy travelling and exploring. We have lived in Oxford/UK and Liepaja/Latvia before but will head overseas now to live in Vancouver and travel Canada from mid-May until July. Therefore, we are looking for a family or couple to stay in our lovely home while we are away. Our flat is in a very beautiful historic house with a good house community so you will find helpful people living right next door. Leipzig University, Max Planck Institute, schools, nurseries, shops and playgrounds are nearby and it is only 8min by bike to the city centre. You are welcome to use our bikes (2 adult bikes and 2 bikes for children aged 9 and 13). Public transport and car sharing stations are also very close. The rooms in our flat are quite spacious with a lovely balcony overviewing the park and our backyard. The backyard has a trampoline, swing, slide, sandpit and table tennis table. Our kitchen is well equipped and even has a portafilter coffee machine (but no microwave - sorry). Our dryer is outside our flat halfway downstairs but you can easily hang your laundry on the rack on the balcony. The washing machine is in our bathroom. The big bathroom has a shower and a bathtub, the smaller one has another shower. The piano in the living room can be used as well. I had it tuned last year. There is a big TV screen connected to a computer. Our kids are happy to share their toys and books if you are coming with kids. There are beds for up to 6 people in the children´s room.
