We are physics professors at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities going on sabbatical for a year. We are looking for an academic family who would like to live in and care for our beautiful home in a historic neighborhood close to downtown Minneapolis. The house has two stories plus a finished attic with two offices and a large fenced garden with a large deck. Ground floor: Entrance Hall 8'x25' Living Room 17'x30' with large TV and beautiful working fireplace Piano Room 13'x16' with grand piano Dining Room 13'x13' with table for eight Kitchen 20'x17' with center island, gas cooktop, large double oven, dishwasher, microwave Pantry containing new large washer/dryer Powder room (half bath) Coat closet First floor: Hallway 8'x17' Master bed (SE) 16'x17' with king bed, working fireplace and two closets NE bed 12'x17' with single bed and double closet NW bed 13'x13' with double bed and closet E bath with shower over jet tub. Doors to NE and SE beds. W bath with shower over tub. Door to hallway. Attic level: Hallway/library 12'x24' N office 12'x16' with desk S office 13'x13' with desk and daybed Exterior: Large rear fenced garden with very large deck. Deck is partly shaded by trellis with vines has nice table for six, two sun loungers, a hanging swing seat and a grill. There is driveway to large rear garage. (There is a 4th bed on the second floor which is not included. The basement is not included and we will retain the right to use it on occasional visits (always with warning). It has a separate exterior entrance at the rear. We will be leaving one car in the double garage the use of which is not included.)
