Charming flat in the Historic center of Rome

Description

The flat is on the second floor of an historical building ( steep stairs and no lift ). As you come in there is a large central hall / dining room ( table for 8 ) and high wooden ceilings ( 4.5 mt high ). Straight in front of you is the living room , full of light , with high decorated ceilings and two sofas ( one of which a sofa bed ) , next to it a small single bedroom or studio . Facing the internal courtyard there is the master bedroom on a mezzanine , that stands on top of a large walk in closet with lots of storage space. Near the entrance you will find the bathroom with bathtub decorated as a print room. The kitchen, with a small laundry area, and above it through an internal staircase you reach another single bedroom with ensuite grey bathroom with shower. The flat has been rented to friends of friends, a professor on Sabbatical with his wife and two children, they have enjoyed their stay and for this reason I am offering it to other professors that might be on sabbatical in Rome. I am roman myself, all thought lived abroad for many years and I am ready to welcome and facilitate your stay in our very special city. If your dream is to discover the historic center city, the flat is very well located, close to shops restaurants museums libraries etc.. ( 5min from Castel sant Angelo and 10 from Piazza Navona ) and in a neighbourhood still very roman, with a school nearby and shops for all daily needs.. a great walking area of the city. The kitchen is fully equipped with cookery stuff and includes a microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. ( no dryer ) Bed linen and towels are provided
